Operation Christmas Child Drive Oct. 5-Nov. 23

          There are many ways to participate in this ministry:

• PRAY that the minds and hearts of the children who will receive a box will be opened to God’s Word.
• TAKE an empty box, fill it following the instructions in the provided brochure, and return the box to the foyer on Sunday.
• DONATE items or money to purchase items that can be packed at one of the packing parties. Be sure to mark donations “OCC”.
• PACK items at one of the packing parties Oct. 23rd and/or Nov. 2oth starting at 1pm.

Open House Ministries is a Christian based homeless shelter that typically cares for over 100 residents each night, half of which are children.  Their focus and resources are committed to equipping homeless families with the tools necessary for resolving the underlying issues that lead to poverty and homelessness.  ANEW! will be gathering the supplies needed to furnish an apartment that a homeless family will use while they work through this program.  There will be a chart in the foyer with post-it notes labelled with the needed supplies.  Simply take a note, purchase the item(s), and bring your donation to the foyer on one of the Sundays in June.  If you prefer not to shop, please donate funds and a volunteer will purchase needed items.  Simply mark your donation “Open House”.  For more information about OHM, visit sheltered.org.
