County-Wide Chaplaincy provides a chaplain to the scene of any traumatic injury or death within Clark County when requested by the emergency responders. Their volunteers provide hope through emotional and spiritual support to the community and to emergency responders in crisis. County-Wide Chaplaincy also recruits, trains, and supports volunteer chaplains. The chaplains attempt to provide immediate pastoral and practical support, facilitate a support system for the family and/or individual involved, and refers those in need to the appropriate agency. ANEW! is collecting new stuffed animals, that can fil a 1 or 2 gallon ziplock bag, for chaplains to give to comfort children in traumatic situations. Prefer not to shop?
